While I’m working on the wedding features from the fall, here are a couple of impressions from tonight’s sunset… they’ve been spectacular lately! Now I need to capture one of those with gorgeous clouds :)

I’m sooooo behind on blogging, I thought I’d at least post my holiday card! I hope you’re all enjoying this time of year and spending it with loved ones. I love having some time with my son, and even made some cookies, ha! ;)

I finally made it to the balloon race – I’d been wanting to go for years! I took my son, and we both just loved watching dawn patrol in the dark, the sun coming up, being able to walk right between the balloons and all the colors in the sky.
We happened to go on September 11th, which made the event somewhat emotional. All balloons carried the flag, and a formation of jets did a fly-over in remembrance.
I would like to point out the Bavarian flag on one of the balloons :)
