The Ellisons were in town for a combined business/pleasure trip – their first time out here, and not surprising, they loved Tahoe! How could you not : ) They brought with them their 4 sons and seized the opportunity for family photos:

I shot the Smith family at Sand Harbor for Danielle, who unexpectedly had to fly home to Australia at the drop of a hat. In addition to really cool family portraits we did some senior photos for Zach:

Alicia and Tim came up to the lake with their little sweetheart Brynn, for some with-baby and some without-baby engagement shots. She is picture perfect, can’t wait to see her in her flower girl attire! Oh and I think the wedding will be a lot of fun… : )

The Morgans came back to Tahoe, escaping the Texas heat for a short time. I love seeing my families again and how the kids have grown!

… are friends with the Fitzgeralds and we did their photos the very next day, same location! Trade the two little girls for one little girl, one rambunctious little boy – sitting still, not an option! Sand, sticks, water, rocks… see ya! (Reminds me very much of someone in my own family…)


A beautiful family, and priceless expressions on the kids…

One of my son’s best friends and his parents, good friends of ours, at Sand Harbor:

Tiffiny and Josh are two of the funnest people you’ll ever meet, and up for anything! We went to Sand Harbor since they were all the way out here from Omaha and wanted the blue blue Tahoe blue; the weather was perfect, the lake almost glass, and only few people around – but, of course, since it was a Sunday, the divers were there! I don’t know how they can stand the cold water, but they had this hilarious, typographically highly valuable sign on the beach, and we decided Josh needed some rescuing. Tiffiny couldn’t move him an inch and we all cracked up.
Did I mention Tiffiny jumped into the water off of a rock? I just can’t wait to shoot their wedding!! She did say she’ll do a snow angel in her dress… (yes, it’ll be a winter wedding).

Stephanie and Noaman came out to our beautiful lake for a vacation from Massachusetts and seized this opportunity to have engagement photos taken. We spend a couple of hours at Sand Harbor on a perfect bluebird morning – they were easy-going, adventurous and fun! I am sharing some moments:
