The lupines were the whole reason we went to Lake Forest for some portraits of Addison, but the field of yellow flowers worked out real well, too! Nothing like a little girl amidst wildflowers!

I went location scouting with my son, on the lookout for a playa, and found fabulous old doors











From San Francisco we drove to Santa Cruz to stay with my friends Betsy and Raf, and little Becca. We went straight to the beach with kids and cameras; only for a bit, as we thought we’d come back Saturday or Sunday, but the weather turned and that didn’t happen. I will just have to go back soon! : )















This session concluded Drayson’s first year documentary; it was a little past his actual birthday, but he got to have a cupcake nonetheless! It had been a while since I last saw him and I barely recognized him – he has changed sooo much, he’s walking and into everything.

…came out from Texas for their annual Tahoe vacation, and wanted photos that were all about the kids – not a problem, with such a handsome bunch!













My son and one of his best buddies are so cute and mischievous together, truly two peas in a pod, I have to share a handful of shots I grabbed recently. Once again, the portrait lens is such a joy, I love love love it!!
