Kathy and Colin got married at Northstar-at-Tahoe last Saturday, in two beautiful ceremonies – one Christian, one Thai. This was my first Asian ceremony of any sort, so naturally I was very excited to learn about their traditions, and to be able to shoot it with all its vivid colors and details!
The day went by in a heartbeat, with an exceedingly happy Bride and Groom, who are so much in love and such a great match. Congrats, you two, and all the best!!

On one of the thus far rare perfect days this year, Amy and Brett came up for their engagement session. They were absolutely fabulous, very much in love, natural and so much fun to work with! It was really hard to narrow down the images to show here, there are so many I’d love to share. I just can’t wait for their wedding!!

So, I did make it up to the Acropolis. It wasn’t too high on my list, since I had been there about my half my lifetime ago, and I doubted it had changed much : ). Unfortunately, large parts of it have been in scaffolding for years as a lot of reconstruction has been under way. At least all the ones on the outsides were taken down literally right before I went, but still, not so fabulous. So, no typical temple shots here! More a documentation of the crass contrast between ancient architecture and modern city. And a heart-shaped rock : )

Inspired by wall art in Munich’s cafe and restaurant Zoozie’z, I did these:

Old doors, windows, and walls that is! : ) The one house in particular was just gorgeous (from my outside point of view – who knows what it looks like on the inside!),  I must have at least 50 images of it from all angles!

All I have to say is: Where was my bride??

Couldn’t resist that first statue… they were all made for Sissi, none of them are ancient.

We ended the day at one of Corfu’s many gorgeous beaches, with big waves and wind, wind, wind. And wow, a couple of decent images of myself!
