Painted Rock Lodge offered a gorgeous backdrop for Alicia and Tim’s fun filled wedding. It was just perfect – the colors, the flowers, the setting, and all the family and friends who came from near and far, and had so many beautiful things to say, I almost teared up a few times myself!

Nicola & John | North Tahoe Event Center

Nicola fell in love with Tahoe while vacationing back in 2000, and so her and John came all the way from England to celebrate their love in an intimate ceremony with their families at the North Tahoe Event Center. They chose a Thursday morning so the beach would not be so crowded – it worked out perfectly, and the colors were phenomenal!

Jenna & Brian | Tunnel Creek Lodge

Tahoe showed off all it has to offer on Jenna and Brian’s big day at Tunnel Creek Lodge – deep blue skies, puffy clouds, sun, heat, thunderstorm, pouring rain, raging wind…. but the ceremony was held outside, and so was the dancing! : )) Only dinner had to be turned into an impromptu inside affair, which Blue Onion Catering dealt with masterfully. The bride and groom took it all in stride and were happy as can be! We were rewarded with a spectacular sunset.

Jenna owns a pastry shop in Incline Village and made everything on the huge dessert buffet herself! It all looked so inviting, I almost put my camera down to indulge… almost.

Paige & Jason’s engagement

Paige and Jason’s wedding isn’t until next July, but we already got their engagement photos done! We had quite a bit of fun shooting, from Squaw to Tahoe City to Speedboat Beach. Ahh, so hard to put the camera down! ; )

I’m already looking forward to the wedding!

Now here’s a bride who couldn’t stop smiling!! : ) Amy and Brett said their vows at the Lodge at Tahoe Donner, after portraits at Loch Leven Lodge’s pier at Donner Lake. It was a picture-perfect day, with every detail oh-so-gorgeous. I loved all the wooden signs! My favorite detail – you guessed it – the shoes!!
Amy and Brett were once again such a joy to be around… these two are truly made for each other!

The lupines were the whole reason we went to Lake Forest for some portraits of Addison, but the field of yellow flowers worked out real well, too! Nothing like a little girl amidst wildflowers!
