Tahoe showed off all it has to offer on Jenna and Brian’s big day at Tunnel Creek Lodge – deep blue skies, puffy clouds, sun, heat, thunderstorm, pouring rain, raging wind…. but the ceremony was held outside, and so was the dancing! : )) Only dinner had to be turned into an impromptu inside affair, which Blue Onion Catering dealt with masterfully. The bride and groom took it all in stride and were happy as can be! We were rewarded with a spectacular sunset.


Jenna owns a pastry shop in Incline Village and made everything on the huge dessert buffet herself! It all looked so inviting, I almost put my camera down to indulge… almost.

I came across these paddleboards on Tahoe’s North Shore after a family shoot last weekend… loved the colors!

Martis Camp put on another great event for their members, a showing of Warren Miller’s 60 year anniversary film, Dynasty. Everyone was there, from little future rock stars enjoying the spot light and mic, to today’s local rock star athletes Daron Rahlves, Errol Kerr and JT Holmes. Cinematographer Tom Day shared insight about getting the shot, as well as Keoki Flagg, showcasing some of his breathtaking images captured during the making of this epic movie.

I didn’t get to see it, but can’t wait to soon!

Wanted to share this quick capture, taken after a great day of skiing after a huge storm; it came in wet, with buckets and buckets of rain, then turned into snow and dumped foot upon foot of powder on us – I included the deck, so you can see – and we live in the “banana belt” of Tahoe, this is not even half of what the West shore or the ski resorts got! I just loved the view after coming home tonight. (Then I got to shovel it!)

Something different… no people! Actually from way back in April, when a friend took me around the lake in a Cessna for sunset. It is sooooo beautiful from up above!
